Africode Academy
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Africode Academy (“the Academy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and any individual or entity (“the Student,” “you,” or “your”) who enrolls in any course offered by the Academy, whether conducted in person (“Physical Classes”) or online (“Online Classes”). By enrolling in any course, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Enrollment and Fees
1.1 Enrollment in any course shall be effective only upon full payment of the prescribed course fees.
1.2 All fees are payable in advance and are non-transferable.
1.3 The Academy reserves the right to deny access to any class, materials, or facilities until full payment has been received and confirmed.
2. Certification
2.1 Upon successful completion of the course requirements, including attendance, participation, and assessments (where applicable), the Student shall be awarded a Certificate of Completion issued by the Academy.
2.2 The Academy reserves the right to withhold certification if the Student fails to meet the minimum requirements for course completion.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 All fees paid to the Academy are strictly non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal, absence, dismissal, or inability to complete the course for any reason whatsoever.
3.2 By making payment, the Student expressly waives any right to claim a refund.
4. Course Delivery
4.1 Courses may be delivered either physically at designated training facilities or virtually through online platforms as determined by the Academy.
4.2 The Academy shall endeavor to deliver courses as scheduled but reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel classes when reasonably necessary.
4.3 The Academy shall not be held liable for disruptions arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet failures, power outages, or force majeure events.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
5.2 Any form of misconduct, disruption, harassment, or violation of Academy rules may result in disciplinary action, including immediate dismissal from the course without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All course materials, whether provided in physical or digital format, remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy.
6.2 Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials solely for personal learning purposes.
6.3 The reproduction, distribution, sale, or unauthorized use of Academy materials is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 The Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to participation in its courses.
7.2 The Student is solely responsible for ensuring the adequacy of their learning environment, equipment, and internet connectivity for Online Classes.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury, or fraud arising from the Academy’s negligence.
8. Amendments
8.1 The Academy reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at its sole discretion.
8.2 Any such amendments shall take effect immediately upon publication on the Academy’s official communication channels.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
9.2 Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
By enrolling in any course at Africode Academy, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
